The 70th anniversary of the founding of the PR of China is an amazing event. It seems that this year, the festivities and decorations are even more pronounced in my city of Xi’an. This photo is a continuation of 5 independent photos of the Spring Festival lights and decorations in Xi’an. This one is also near Da Yanta or the Big Goose Pagoda. What I like about this composition is that it looks almost like a fairytale place or a garden full of electric flowers such as dandelions rather than a busy street during the holidays. The camera filter setting used here also made it seem a bit more surreal and spectacular. What impressed me most is how this section of the city has changed over the past decade.
